Who would have thought that they could not only predict the matte craze, but have the technology to design a car that would "degrade" in a manner that captures it just after it peaked?

I'll be honest - my wife drives a Cavalier.

That reminds me, I need to get around to checking out the rear brakes. The park brake isn't doing what a park brake should do. I'm guessing worn shoes/drums. At least that's what I'm hoping.

Betting on a loose cable. Should be a simple fix.

Here's to hoping! When I had to do the drums/shoes on the Civic, I swore I'd never buy another vehicle with drum brakes. Perhaps a bit of a foolish thing to do, but it was a far from pleasant job.

Of course knowing me, I'll end up getting another car with drums...
